Munich International Ski Club party

OK, this is perhaps a bit late in the day but I just thought I'd let people know that the Munich International Ski Club are holding their annual 'Isar Party and BBQ' this Saturday. The weather forecast is supposed to be good but even if it rains there is ample shelter.

WHEN: Saturday, August 4th, from 3pm till late (or until the beer runs out)

WHERE: On the west side of the Isar under the John F. Kennedy Bridge

WHAT TO BRING: A cup with your name on it, hunger and thirst!

HOW MUCH:
1. The BBQ costs 10 Euros for members, 15 for non-members (all you can eat and drink, first come, first served)

If you've been before you will know what to expect, if you haven't it's a great way to meet new people and find out a bit about us. If you like what you hear you can even sign up for membership for the next season.

Membership costs 35 Euros for renewals and 45 Euros for new members. This gets you discounts on all trips and some events!

Hi, I'm not a member but I love skiing. Is it possible to come along and join on the day ?

It seems fairly obvious from the original post that you can. And having been a member for years (though not any more) I know for a fact you should.

Weevil, yes, of course it's OK to come along and join on the day. In fact we always hope that the party will be an excuse to swell our members.
