As the title implies, how long have you been here already, and how long do you intend to stay? Have you seen all the museums and sites? smile.gif

I intend to localize here at the end of my original 3-year contract, which is up this December.

Actually, I have seen all the sights in Germany. They were pretty good.

one51: so, how'd you like the Bismarck tower by the Starnberger See?

I think it's pretty cool.

What are your thoughts on Blutenburg castle?

Oh, in response to the original question: Never been to Dresden, sorry. I need to go, got a couch? lol ...find me a cheap-ass place to stay and I'll put that at the top of my list.

Of course I have been to both, those were awesome. I also recommend Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Ulm, and Regensburg which I saw in a long-weekend tourist spree. (at least that second part is true). Actually such driving trips are a great way to see new and unique towns.

Hi, I've been here for a little over a week. I intend to stay until July of 2009..but maybe 2010..We'll see. I have seen the Swinger, and visited MANY bier gartens..( my son is here and intends to try out every German beer he can get his hands on.)

Hello ohmy.gif I've been living here for little under a year now, Not exactly Dresden, but a town just outside! does that still count? I just discovered this chatroom. I'm actually amazed and a little moved how many English speaking people there are here, as I was feeling a little homesick for a while!
I will probably be staying here for the forseeable future, though eventually I would love to move back to the UK.
