German-American Volksfest

Anyone feel like going? We could meet at Oskar Helene Heim (U 3) at 3 p.m. There's a large beer tent so there shouldn't be a problem if it rains.

I went with Maria today and noticed that this is going until Aug 19. Looks like there's rides, carny style games, lots of American food (barbeque spare ribs, grilled corn, burgers, etc. - but No Apple Pie!! ) Beer, and in one of the tents ...

Carnies are scary. And the worst is how they train carnie kids to become carnie adults. Be afraid, be very afraid, and stay away from those sketchy ball games.
