Bondi's Traffic Light Party - Friday 10.Sep.2004

Some of us single girlies are planning on going to the traffic light party tonight. Went to the first ever one back in May or June and had great fun. I know they planned on making a regular weekly Friday event.

Question is, does anyone know if it is still going on?

If its like the ones in the uk u wear a different coloured batch depending on ur status, and what u want!
Green= Single and available, come get me
Amber=Could be pursuaded, maybe someone in the pipelins
Red= Taken, Not intrested, or hands off!

wearing a red sticker---means you're taken
yellow sticker---you're taken and you're after a one-night stand with a TT girl
green sticker---you're truly single

Yeah was thinking the same thing...just me in the corner with my red shirt...having a (ho-hum) party with all the other red-shirts (Smug Marrieds for all you Bridget Jones fans)...however, watching the green and amber peeps might be like a good lesson in human behaviour

just my naivity showing through again but what this means is

green means a fuck with possible breakfast
yellow means a fuck with no breakfast and dont leave any dna traces
red means a sad fuck stuck in the corner

so surley basicly the whole event will look like st patricks day.

Oh yeah...and get them to do your laundry as well to see if Mom ever let them use the washing machine (apparently some Moms don't )

Hey up ! Some men are very good around the home. God my girlfriend has no idea how to use my washine machine, and well when it comes to fry up's, don't think women know how to cook a good fry up without destroying something.

I can't cook anything without destroying something so more power to those who can...

And in all fairness...the washing machines here are kinda complicated I must admit that my husband had to give me a lesson (or two...like I said...complicated)

But I have met so many guys who say 'My Mom didn't want me to wreck her machine so I 'wasn't allowed' to do the laundry' Then the Mom turns around and says 'Hmmm...my car is making this strange noise' or 'Do you think the grass is too long?'

Some appliances might be gender specific...the jury is still out.

Yeah they do say that men would be obsolete if it wasn't for all the lawn the needed mowing...
What does that mean for women living in apartments without a lawn?

i have a guy that does the lawn. he just turns up once a week or so and mows it. I never hired him and never pay him anythig for doing it. He just turns up and mows. I love it!

Very true, pepper, and they are the kinds of guys I want to meet. My ex-boyf was portugese and had no clue! Part of the culture - live at home til they get married, with mama doing everything. Jeeze, the guy finally cooked for me after a year and a half or so, and then didn't know that you have to remove the seeds from a bell pepper!

Anyway, went to Walmart on my way home from work today - it's singles shopping night tonight from 6pm. What the . . .!

Righto, back on topic. Just phoned Bondi, and the traffic light party is definitely happening tonight. We girlies should be there from 10pm onwards if anyone else wants to join us.
