Now if you want a ticket to this, grab it quick, this lot will sell out. A wee band that is getting very very big in a tiny venue? Yes please.
How to describe them? Erm, Belle & Sebastian meets Bruce Springsteen? Bugger it, that will do.
And at that price - give them a whirl.
Hang me out to dry

righter
Ooooh you lucky Munich lot. 15€ to see them as well. They're coming nowhere near here mad.gif
RebellionLies
I'm there, for sure.

Hello! I've only lived in Munich for 1 week, but it's great to know that people here like good music! Cold War Kids are amazing. Do you order tickets directly on the site you listed? Do you have to become a member of the site?
Thanks!

Welcome juliej! You can get tickets online via MünchenTicket (link in first post) or visit one of the ticket offices in person. Try the tourist office at Marienplatz, the ticket booths inside Marienplatz S-Bahn station, inside Karlsplatz Stacchus S-Bahn station near the U-Bahn entrance...

I just bought tickets today. I missed the last concert, I am really look forward for this one.
Mrs Peel
I have a spare ticket to this gig tonight - face value €13.
Let me know if you want to buy it!
Mrs Peel
Sold.
Mrs Peel
Great atmosphere and a great gig - happy to have taken a punt on tickets for a band I didn't know well.

Loved the support too - Patrick Watson
Katrina
Ah-ha! He was worth the ticket alone. Patrick Watson.net
CWK were great, bit difficult to describe really. Their songs are a bit like fabels, I'm struggling a bit here, ok Springsteen doing Arab Strap covers? Ish?
Anyway well worth the look and an utter bargain at 13€.

Shame that the Atomic doesn't offer season tickets though!

Patrick Watson and his homies were top ...musically, they sound like early Verve in places ...me thinks. CWK rawked ...as for their sound I would tend to veer more to the Amazon breakdown:

Think of an accessible mix of The Strokes, The White Stripes and Tapes & Tapes, with a bit of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Neutral Milk Hotel thrown in for good measure, and you'll more or less have the sound of Cali indie rockers Cold War Kids nailed.

Am now off to order the PW LP...
RebellionLies
Damn, shame I missed this now.

Ah well, guess there's always next time.
Pie!
How was the show? I was pretty choked that tickets were all sold out...
Malcolm Spudbury
It was a very good show.

As has been mentioned above, the support act were excellent. Only spoiled by some ignorant German twat talking at the top of his voice during the acoustic bit at the end.

Forgotten about that arrogant twat!!
Katrina
S'alright, he got the foot of justice later...
Malcolm Spudbury
What, did you kick him?

Shame I didn't see it. Would have started a round of applause.
