Running paths in Dresden
Info and suggested routes
What a wonderful place to go running. I want to check out the Dresdner Heide, but Im not sure how to reach there properly, does anyone know? Also does anyone know of other great running paths in and around Dresden area? I can take the train within the Dresden area...Thanks! Anyone else run?

I just went running thru an army base area...I dont think I was supposed to be there
To reach the Heide you're best to take tram number 11 and get out at any stop between Wilhelminenstraße and Am Weißen Adler. I'd suggest to start from "Plattleite". Just remember the way back
Dresden also has a branch of the Hash House harriers if you are looking for some English speakers that like to run... don't let the beer drinking scare you, nobody is forced to drink
