Does anyone know of any good tour companies who organise group walking holidays in the UK?

HF Holidays are the best, with over 100 years of experience. They own their own houses, which are usually very attractive, and these days of a high standard. They usually offer 3 walks each day of varying difficulty, and offer special theme holidays, eg singles or under-40s.

Thanks for the feedback! I actually found the hf website since I started the thread, and have sent off for a brochure.

If you fancy doing the Coast to Coast walk my parents live in Robin Hood's Bay I'm sure I could sort out accommodation where you can rest your weary feet

Well, HF Holidays haven't sent me a brochure and don't seem to reply to e-mail enquiries. Looks as if they've got enough customers already.

Never blame a third party for something that Deutsche Post can be blamed for.

The postal system could be to blame for the non-delivery of the brochure, but not for the fact that the e-mails have been delivered, read and ignored.

STB, don't blame this on the deutsche post! as i mentioned before, HF is not famous for its customer service. if only their hikes weren't so well organised...
