I will be moving soon to Nbg to hopefully settle down for awhile. I would like to get myself enrolled within the local health care system to keep my costs minimal. Though I am an EU citizen, my situation has not seen me able to enroll in my home countries system as I am a non-resident. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

In Germany to be covered by the public health insurance, you either have to have a job, or be registered as jobless and looking for a job, or in some type of government system or be a spouse of someone with a job. You can't just come here and be covered like you would in the UK for example. I believe you could get what they call a mini-job, which would entitle you to public health care, but you would have to work at least a little.
