Hi all!

I had a disasterous, cheap haircut in March and havent returned to a hairdressers since then. Its about time though, my spit ends, regrowth and amount of hair are driving me insane. I look like a total bogan.

I miss my Melbournian hairdresser very much and im looking for an experienced replacement! The more years of experience the better. I dont care what the cost is, [i will save up if i have to.] I'm looking particularaly for a hairdresser who actually cares for their client, someone who actually wants me to look good, and feel good about myself. I also want to find someone who is in tune with current fashions and trends in the hair industry.

Sounds like a big ask doesn't it? But with that many hairdressers around, theres bound to be one who fits my criterea, right?

[I just couldnt go through another bad haircut again. It makes me too homesick!]

Please help put a smile back on my dial rolleyes.gif

as a man, I am hesitant to give advice on hairdressers, but... there is a salon across the street from the Dom (between the post office and Krautermarkt) which was fairly good. the women / girls working there were nice and they had a lot of regular customers.

but since I am much more of a barbershop kind of guy, i wasn't all too happy to pay their fees for an over done haircut.

also, they didn't speak much english... but it's been a couple years since I was there...

Andrea Garburg at Kohlenmarkt is excellent. I go to Susanne, but I know other expats who go to the other stylists and are just as happy. Plus, they seem to know how to deal with curly hair. Just how good are they? In 5+ years in Germany, it's the first salon I've been happy with.
