Graham
This is the first time I have ever written the words England v Wales in the same sentence as football. I can't actually remember the last time they played each other (some knowledgeable TTer will probably tell us exaxtly when and what the score was but gut fealing it was back in the 70's and Wales lost by about 6 nill).

Anyway nuff rambling: to celebrate this historic meeting of two glorious nations and their barbaric fans I suggest the following:

All football supporters (and anyone else interested in a piss-up) should get together and watch this at either the Arc or Murphy's. All Scots, Irish and sundry others are heartily invited to support Wales biggrin.gif since England will have enough of a following.

Howz about it?
pootle
Sounds like fun. If wales win great, but I am already braced for the complete drubbing from englands superstars.

gideon
ermmm

are you sure about this graham? we'll have rooney and ferdinand up and running, the welsh will go down to ten men and the rest of the evening will consist of you buying english fans (ie me) large amounts of alcohol as pennance.

i'm sure you and pootle could somehow barracade yourselfs in the arc, but remember the film 'butch cassidy and the sundance kid', you know the last scene before the final credits...

oh yes i'm up for this...
Shaggy
got plans later but if the venue is Schwabing then I'll be along to sing Saucepan Fach
Graham
2-2 against Austria? maybe, just maybe, our third-rate stars have a chance of a freak draw. tongue.gif
Graham
Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn anwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol rhyfelwyr, gwlad garwyr tra mad,
Tros ryddid collasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra mor yn fur
I'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra mor yn fur
I'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra mor yn fur
I'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
gideon
graham, i think your keyboard's fucked... ohmy.gif
Graham
not fucked just welshified.
gideon
total of topic:-

does a welsh keyboard only have sixteen Ds, fifteen Gs, lots of Ts, ten Ls and a couple vowels thrown in for good luck on it?

bet the demand is high for that product.

oh almost forgot, there must be a couple of 'ewes' on there somewhere, with it being welsh and that.
Shaggy
only need SH E EP wink.gif
gideon
but how many RAMS does the computer need??
Jimbo
Shame I won't be here anymore - England's new back bone (read Spurs) will absolutely shit all over Wales. Oh well, guess I'll just have to watch it in an English juicer in England.
Uncle Jamal
What do you call a sheep tied to a post?

A welsh leisure center.
Shaggy
...and a Welsh man with 100 sheep??

Happy wink.gif

(sorry but the oldies never lose their fun)
Graham
how does a welshman find sheep in long grass?

booofifull, really boootifull boyo!
pootle
We shag em,

you eat em!

P
Graham
shag em to death then eat em.

welsh lamb in a creamy pescoise sauce!
Uncle Jamal
You mean you don't use condoms?
gideon
back on topic.

forgot to say that sol cambell will also be back in the squad against wales.
Graham
ooooh shakin' in me boots now.

like one more star is gonna a difference!
Jimbo
Campbell ain't a star - just a Judas piece of shit not fit to wear the England shirt.
Graham
does he want to play for Wales?
Shaggy
so where we gonna watch this?? Arc?
Graham
I like the Arc but is costly getting home afterwards cos in the middle of nowhere thus forced to get a taxi!

For this one event i would prefer Murphy's but would be flexible cos i on't want to hurt Hazza's fealings!
Shaggy
GM is also fine... but Arc is only a couple off blocks off the Leopold strip... and right next to the 27 tram.
Graham
it takes about an hour for me to get home after midnight from there whereas from Murphy's it is about 15-20 mins.

Tram 27 is fine...but it don't help me much.
gideon
erm how come it takes you an hour?
i'd prefer the arc, hazza could decorate the stage area to look like a sheep pen with a little gate on it.

and why always taxi, tram (or walk) to stachus then s-bahn.
or schellingstrasse (bus or walk) and then u-bahn.

or go home on a sheep! ph34r.gif that would be the ewe-baaaahn!
Graham
cos MMV is less good the later it gets.

Shaggy
what??? go all the way to Sendliner Tor and then back to Giselastr??? Only 15 mins walk to Giselastr from Arc , no??
Graham
maybe but I's a lazy boy
Shaggy
and 800m to Universität
gideon
welsh public transport

Graham
looks more like a welsh prostitute
gideon
so it's a welsh bike then?
thats transport.
Hazza
@Graham

Drinks are cheaper at The Arc.

A taxi to Münchner Freiheit or Giselastrasse costs €5.

Simple...
