The Firmenlauf is at 1930 tonight in Olympia Park and two of my colleagues pulled out last minute so I have two extra places which are yours for free (I think they cost 25€). The only thing is, I am leaving the house shortly before 6 so you will need to be quick. We can meet in front of the stadium around 6.20.

Firmenlauf - an inter-company fun run
Annual event every July in the Olympiapark
heh, that was a fun run... man I didn't realize quite how out of shape I was
The heat was a killer and there was no water along the route. Plenty of space though despite 24,000 people. Good organisation and a new finding for me that alcohol-free beer tastes awful.

So, people not only go jogging, but do it with work colleagues, and craploads of other people to get in your way?!? Bloody what?
Today is the 2008 firmenlauf - I cannot bear to suffix that with "maxi", because that sounds soooo gay. "Maxi". *shudder* Thinking of it, I actually recall Jar Jar Binks using that word in Star Wars, and he was a twat too.
Good luck to all the fools who decide to use their scant freetime to engage in a pointless activity with workchums, and I hope you all get plenty of photos for your company to put on its intranet site, showing what a great bunch of closely knit people their "team" is.
