I got 93 a week or so ago. I'm hoping that Berbatov will get about 50 tomorrow for me. Though I have a bad feeling about him and Keane.
Yeah. I reckon Reading are gonna have a tough tie at Old Trafford too.

I fear you may be right. Seriously, I think we'll do Reading tomorrow, but I don't hold out hope against United. Be interesting to see how much the cup contests affect the league as we go into the last third of the season.
The FA Cup in Fantasy Footie has buggered me the past two seasons, and I've been awaiting this moment to put into effect the plan I think has the best merit... with the resources I have left myself with. I can still win it at the moment. It's just a case of anticipating the obvious and hoping that not many freaks occurances happen. However, let's face it, United's thrashing of the Toon was on a par, FF points wise, with Berbatov's flurry. Games are fast running out now.

Liverpool vs Luton :
Manager Kevin Blackwell handed in his notice after Luton's administrators agreed to sell captain Chris Coyne to Colchester and midfielder Dave Edwards to Wolves without his knowledge. And now Blackwell says that some of his players could refuse to play against Liverpool in case they get injured and jeopardise their chances of a transfer to another club. Blackwell said: "I don't even know who I will have available to play. There are players talking to other clubs, and an injury could cost them a move to a club where they'll get paid." The former Leeds manager, plus coaches Sam Ellis and John Carver, will leave after Luton's home game against Bournemouth on 9th February. To add to Blackwell's selection problems, goalkeeper Dean Brill is doubtful with a thigh strain - and he has no deputy at the club. Newly-appointed captain Chris Perry is also a doubt with a similar injury. Matthew Spring is back after a ban, while striker Sam Parkin is available after a long-term ankle injury. Looks like Liverpool has a chance this time.
Oh I dunno. At least Luton have the benefit of the pissabolity of Benitez screwing it all up.

Tonight's my big chance - I need the Berb and Keano to bang in a frigging hat full tonight - if they can do that I'll have a tiny amount of breathing space.
You've met Reading only twice this season and the score is 8-6. Something tells me you might have already used up your goal quota on this one. I'll predict Reading to defend in numbers and catch your dodgy defence on the break. 1-0.

I have a feeling that you may be right Sin - I have a bad feeling in my water about both Spurs tonight, and the fitness of Keane and Berbatov as my two strikers for the future. We'll see though - hopefully Reading will throw caution to the wind again and Keane and Berbatov will each get a hat-trick. Or at least one goal between them. Just one. Please God.
Don't worry mate, it's probably just a dose.
Bugger me! They didn't even start Berbatov.

A great night for Solent Gale who have Gerard and Keane. For my part Hyppia and Keane have got me two goals - my chances were not helped by Berbatov being ill. Bulgarian bastard. Gonna be very tight at the top after this - 10pts or so in it I'd guess... (edit or likely less - You Essexy Thing may now be in 2nd)

Nah! Barring MoTMs you're still 15 points clear. Lions on the other hand just bagged 33 whole points for 3 fuckin' players and rocketed further up the table. The way he's goin' either Oldham are gonna win The Cup or he's gonna get laid... or both!!!

i dont think solent gale is getting anthing from keane as he will start counting from today (wednesday), instead he will get 1 point from hunt and 23 from gerrard. you are getting 1 from hunt and 9 from hypia and 7 from keane

Hmm, I may have to fiddle around with the sheet for this. Everyones transfers go in to effect as Sharpe points out from today onwards. Now last nights may be updated tomorrow, so I'll check to see if they are included for wk23, if not, they go in to wk24's points, which would mean everyones transfers from today would get last nights points. This is my one bug bear with the FF site, at the start of the season, they only do updates every Wednesday, then as it gets later in to the year, the updates are there Monday morning and then done again on a Thursday.

Yeah, it's a lot of hassle for you 3L - so much so that I wonder if perhaps you shouldn't just forget about it and declare the season over right now, giving the winnings to whoever is currently at the top. That's a good idea I think.

Just checked the Telegraph FF website. Last nights points are being marked up for Week 24.
Our rules state that transfers come into effect Wednesday.
To help you out 3 Lions, there are only 2 relevant scores that are affected by transfers: Solent Gale retains 1 pt for S Hunt but score no points for R Keane for last night's games. Nobody else is affected.

Jan 16 2008, 4:26 pm
Disqualify Solent Gale - it's the obvious solution. Anyway, I actually read one of 3 Lions' mails yesterday and discovered that Solent Gale is run by somebody who has a TT account, but has never ever posted. Who is this mysterious soul?
