@3Lions - I found the issue. On the "Transfer List" sheet, there are some transfers with effective dates of December 2008 instead of December 2007 (No doubt they were entered in January, so Excel used 2008 as the default year). Once these transfer dates are fixed, everything should work out. The change will impact 4 teams: Ihsan's Shade goes to 716 points, Devils FC goes to 674, The Puddings goes to 658, Blue Moon FC stays at 632.

@BD - I've edited my original post to reflect that. Your transfer in of Gabbidon hasn't netted you any points yet despite the error.
Drogba is on the field!
And Oldham are 1-nil up against Everton. 3 Lions must be in multiple orgasm spasm.

another tottenham-readign game?
Yep. Jimbo has both The Berb and Hunt. He's now eeked out a stupid lead today.

I'll need to speak to Ken, but I think a few transfers didn't happen for me just before Xmas (Keane doesn't seem to have ever left my squad, and I wanted him out for the duration of his suspension and replaced by Adebayor as I had transfers spare)...doubt that will impact the table much though, but might mean a couple of extra points for me - I'll mail Ken on Monday to get it sorted.
Happy New Year all - and well done Oldham!
S'funny, but the last two seasons it was me in the lead by about 50pts at this stage of the season. It gets hard to hold on from now on Jimbo. At least you seem to have the form goalscorer... and you get a bleedin' replay with him against a team that together have already scored seventeen thousand, four hundred and twenty nine goals so far this season.
Well done Lions indeed. I can just picture the cheesy grin all over his chops right now. Do you think they could get all the way to the semi-final to be knocked out by... ?

I know Sin, I know - I'm not counting my chickens until May. Berbatov has turned out to be a good pick though - damn near dropped him a few months back.
S'funny again mate, but it was me being the only one to have originally picked The Berb last season and him having a blinding Chrimbo what put me so far out in front at that point. Note to self: Bring in Berbatov for the Chrimbo games next season.

does anybody have a link for MoMs of FA games?
They normally aren't announced until Monday. However, these are the MoTMs from The Sunday Telegraph where they affect a Premiership team that had players Toytown managers had picked. Beware, they ain't always the same as what the Telegraph Fantasy Footie people pick:
Martin Rowlands (QPR)
Stephen Quinn (Sheff Utd)
Fabio Rochemback (Middlesbrough)
Jay Tabb (Coventry)
David James (Portsmouth)
Kelvin Lomax (Oldham)
Adam Federici (Reading)
No indication as of yet for the West Ham v City game, but the Telegraph report is talking up Martin Petrov.
Un-ferkin-believeable!!!
What the hell are Liverpool playing at? They'll be out of all competitions pretty damn quickly the way Benny is using rotactics to rotivate his players. Who is he trying to confuse? Because they've got one of, if not the best ferkin' squad in the Premership and they can't seem to organise it. I'm not complaining mind.

According to 3Lions previos post, my 2 transfers should be effective from the FA cup games. Hence for last weeks mid week games, my old transfers should have been effective. So those 10 points which are missing from my main table, should still be added me thinks !!

Rule says transfers before friday take effect from Wednesday. So lets say i buy in a guy that will play in FA cup. I will get the points if his game is on Wednesday but not if his game is on Tuesday, right?. I feel like all this FA cup thing is not fair. Extra games just because they had a draw.

MoMs so far:
Gael Clichy
Juliano Belletti
Steven Gerrard
Dean Ashton
Marcus Bent
John Carew
Mikel Arteta
and possibly Ronaldo ?
I think you'll find that the MoTMs might be a little different when the Telegraph adjudicatipeeps do their adjudicatithingie that they do. Nothing is official until Monday.

Ronaldo hat-trick. this guy is not human. 6-0, now we know why Redknap did not accept the offer
"Well Brian, I'm well chuffed. You could see after the four Christmas games that the leaders were running away with it [The Championship], what with Berbatov on fire. But that performance from United today and especially Ronaldo and Tevez, well, I think we've seen that this championship is far from over yet." - Sin

If we look at the top 6, 5 of them have Ronaldo. This means Ronaldo's performance will no longer be effective on the top instead players like Berbatov, Fabregas, Gerrard, Tevez, Anelka and Adebayor will be key and niche selections like Torres,SWP and Keane will be very important.
Jimbo
Jan 14 2008, 12:17 pm
Who doesn't have Ronaldo? You won't win anything without Ronaldo - a bit like the real Premiership in fact.
Team in second ain't got Ronaldo.

Right. I am even OK before the wednesday they will be effective. So here are my two transfers that will be effective from this Wednesday :
Out
M Arteta
K Toure
In
D. Kitson
Alex
OK then. Effective this Wednesday I have Finnan and Arteta out and Campbell and Ballack in, leaving me with 4 more transfers to the end of the season.
