I have a technical question pertaining to suspensions: The FA state that a player will get a one match first team ban after collecting 5 bookings between the start of the season and the end of Feb, a two match ban if 2 x 5 bookings during the entire season and a three match ban if 3 x 5 bookings, etc.

Does this include yellow cards collected in the League Cup? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

I believe so. It includes all first team competition matches. Regarding my ask on transfer window, i assume If i send the transfers before 21st that belongs to second transfer window, they will count in tuesday's games.

Early days yet for this weekend, but Jimbo just eeked out one of those hard to catch leads. Anybody with Berbatov's 4 goals today is going to score well. I reckon it's a given he's MoTM, so that would put him on +25pts all on his bleedin' own.

I've had an unmitigated disaster. A real McClaren moment, if you will. I've played 6 whole players so far this weekend and have amassed a whopping great 1pt so far. Today will go down in the annuals of history as 'Cuntish Saturday' and have almost certainly, what with Berbatov scoring a basket load of points, have put an end to any hopes of winning this year's title. Bollocks!

On the Fantasy Footie, yesterday was a mindbender, and there were more fun and frolicks at Derby earlier (Friedel saved a penalty). I now fully expect a 7-5 scoreline from Anfield with 3 red cards and two missed penalties.

The big winners this weekend are obviously anybody with Berbatov, and of course the big losers are anybody without Berbatov who also have Arteta. I'm one of them.

i had arteta, ronaldo and downing. one got sent out, one missed a penalty and the other scored an own goal. I love this game.

I've got a prediction developing. I'll wait until tomorrow for the last 2 MoTMs, although the City-Pool game they're talking about donating the MoTM to a Mrs. Wobblebottom of Alderly Edge on account that she deserved it more than all the players put together. I love this fuckin' game too. The only consolation is that I have taken a couple of points out of the two managers directly above me and stayed within my goal of being less than 50pts off the lead by the time the FA Cup 3rd round starts (44pts actually barring MoTMs).

MOTM today was undoubtedly Richard Dunne, i agree though, the game was dire with Sven clearly setting his stall out for a draw and the sousers also not that bothered.

Let's face it, Liverpool have got a superb goalkeeper, probably the best defence in the country, oodles of quality midfielders, world class strikers... oh! and Peter Crouch (maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that). All they really need to win the Premiership is a quality manager now.

Not sure about Fat Sam. Newcastle have a problem that is more deep-rooted than just the manager. In fact, one could say they have an 'England' type problem: big club, superb and passionate support, plenty of history... can't perform. I'll wager you could fire Allardyce and replace him with a whole string of potentials and they'd be just as piss poor next season as well. It's going to need a huge manager with absolute dictatorial control to kick that bootroom into shape.

in the file you sent me i show 46 points in the last week, where as in the table i see 36, also i am not sure from which week on did u include adebayor and benjani? i also see 568 as total in the file, maybe i am missing something?

@3 Lions: In the file you have sent me , in week 22 my table adds up to 47 points but only 37 points have been added in the main table. Similarly in week w21 47 points have been added instead of 48.

ok here is my case. The previous file you sent was week 19 , i was at 573 . i sent you my emergency transfer request for adebayor and benjani on 12th of december. so they start playing from week 20 (22nd december). according to my calculations i get 44, 53 and 46 on week 20, 21st and 22nd ending up at 716.

Its likely something in the file isnt recognising the transfers you made. I'll take a thorough look on Monday, I just wanted to get the file sent so everyone knew their teams this weekend.
