Points for you Sin. Elano scored.
Wish i'd had bloody time to do some transfers, work sucks !
Thanks bluedave, AND Fabregas and Campbell got booked. Not making any positions up but the lead is closing TDH down again (thought he was gonna stomp away).

I see Sin has both Torres and Tevez in the team but in the transfers i see Tevez is replaced by Torres. missing something? and also you have chopra but cant see him coming in as well.
I've got Torres (damn Benitez's rotation policy), Tevez and Chopra. Tevez came in for the injured Ashton.

Ok then you used emergency transfers and the file does not show them, who did u swap chopra with?
3 Lions

He did use them, the file for some reason isnt showing the two emergency transfers, but Sin has used both.
I think at least three of us brought in Elano this weekend.

Well, spirit of competition and all that mate. No point competing if it isn't to win, and all that.
Yeah Sin, don't mean to be a downer or anything. No animosity intended at all, but really I don't look at fantasy football as a competive activity - just more of an amusement. I'll try to refrain if you'd like - or we could just introduce an 'anti-tipping' rule and that would be the end all be all.

And 3 Lions has Elano... although I still make him bottom.
3 Lions
Oct 21 2007, 11:13 am
I expect nothing less!! I dropped Van Persie on Firday and will have Robbie Keane playing next week.
And will likely stay bottom.
If it's any consolation TDH has had a pants weekend and all his players have played: Reina 1pt, Evra 1, A Cole 0, Samba 0, Arteta 2, Ronaldo 1, Fabregas 0, Malouda 0, Pedersen 1, Tevez 5 and van Persie 0 = 11pts. Sharpe has already overtaken the lead and has an 11th player yet to play.
And the moral of the story is that you can have blinding weeks and disasterous weeks. You can get a 50pt lead and lose it in two weeks (been there, done that, several times). At this stage of the season ANYBODY can still win it. The FA Cup makes for some extraordinary differences when the Premiership teams start playing. I was 38pts ahead of Crawlie two seasons ago with about 5 weeks to run and Liverpool (who he had 5 players from... before the rule change to 3 players max.) whopped Birmingham 7-0, and suddenly he had a 30pt lead on me after a single game which he held on to win the TTFFL championship.
So, still a very long way to go.

I could see this kind of a week coming. 3-4 players were not playing and the ones which were playing, would not have given me much of an advantage, as most of the managers have them too. Newez, there goes me chance of winning my first manager of the month award. It is jinxed for me, aint it !!

3 Lions: Is the file you sent last weekend updated. Because, in case of Sin's transfers, he has not transferred Ashton out, but his table shows Chopra instead of Ashton. Has he bought back Chopra?
3 Lions
Oct 23 2007, 9:18 am
Sin has never dropped Chopra.
Check the transfer list page, he dropped Ashton for Tevez. I know its not showing on the Transfers page at the minute, thats just a temporary glitch. My Excel specialist is currently out of the country and will fix it on his return.
See. Blame me why don'tcha, when it was 3 Lions' Excel specialist all the bleeding time. I feel like... like... McLaren (not the ginger twat neither).

hrm. been starving for information regarding this as well. did they even bother to reveal why he had been pulled off the pitch during warmups? Did he suffer a flying shoe incident?
Calf strain sustained in the warm-up in Kiev. Yep, looks like it wasn't as serious as the MUFC website originally feared on Wednesday.

Darn, Fabregas got booked after he scored. Meanwhile, in the latest file i can still not see Sin's 2 emergency transfers?
Sin
Oct 28 2007, 10:33 pm
Right then. For the record I started the season with:
Reina, Carvalho, Evra, Lescott, Ronaldo, Pedersen, Arteta, M Taylor, Tevez, D Bent and Chopra.
I then transferred out Carvalho, Ronaldo and Bent and brought in Finnan, Lampard and Martins (3 of 7 transfers, 4 to go, plus 2 season-long emergency transfers)
Then I transferred out Martins and Tevez for Ashton and Torres (5 of 7 transfers, 2 to go, plus 2 emergencies)
Then Ashton went and got himself injured immediately (I do one of these every bloody season... The Sin Kiss of Death) and Fat Frankie was laid up injured (although as soon as I transfer him out the bastard immediately shakes off his injury and starts performing miracles - 3 assists yesterday).
So the final transfers were Pedersen and Taylor out for Elano and Petrov (final 2 transfers out of a total 7 in the transfer window up to December 31st 2007) and the 2 emergency transfers for the injured Ashton and Lampard being Ronaldo and Tevez.
Sin City FC are now therefore: Reina, Finnan, Evra, Lescott, Ronaldo, Arteta, Elano, Petrov, Torres, Tevez, Chopra, and according to The Telegraph Fantasy Football League points scoring system last week these 11 players got: Reina 1, Finnan 1, Evra 1, Lescott 0, Ronaldo 1, Arteta 2, Elano 7, Petrov 2, Torres 0, Tevez 5, Chopra 1, and in my book 1+1+1+0+1+2+7+2+0+5+1=21, which is 7 points less than I was accredited for last week.
Are we all clear now?
