Nope, but I guess you're contemplating transfers.

Huh, weird 3 lions - it has been working no problems. I guess it is just best to send to my old one for now until I can get it sorted.
Thanks,
Kaiserf

Now I truly am doing an Oldham! That bloody poison little dwarf Owen, seems he can only play when he's got 3 Lions on his chest, I guess I should send him a t-shirt with my picture on it to wear during games.

Sin, apparently I am having some e-mail problems and still haven't gotten a file. I made 5 transfers on the 14th - are your predictions taking those into account? Because if they are...well...I don't know what I'll do.
Well, obviously not unless I make a calculated guess.
Knowing you it would be Howard for Bywater (-3), Ferdinand for Richards (-3), Ronaldo for Mikel (-3), Jagielka for Leacock (-3) and Berbatov for Mears (-3). Total for the week 1pt.
And the good news is that... er... 3Lions ain't last.
Go on, what were your transfers then?

Sep 24 2007, 4:34 pm
Ah. Back on top of the table where I belong... Now. Drogba has to go as I do not see him lasting much longer at Chelsea now his bum buddy has left. Crying at the traiing ground... I ask you eh?

Not that they have been particularly brilliant, but I don't know if they've ever been incorporated into the file. I know 3 Lions got them though, because this is when I also gave him the new e-mail that appears to be causing the problems.

Yeah Sin, those would be right up my alley, but I painted by numbers this time. I'm sure the McCarthy thing will come back to haunt me though. And tell your boy Cronaldo to quit wasting his energy with the hookers.
You gotta take a bit of leg pulling in footie kaiserf. S'all part of the game.
However, if 3Lions confirms I reckon that puts you up to 14th with 142pts.

I did get those transfers, I'll correct them tomorrow for you. Bit busy at work at the moment, also its a strong rumour that the board of 'Five Man Back Four' are having an emerency meeting as to how to stop the current slide...well as I'm flat bottom, I can't slide any further!
Don't worry 3 Lions. I'm sure that the Chairman and the board will give you their full backing.
I just read that bit of the FA Rule book that covers accumulated Yellow cards. Very interesting. If I read the rules correctly, then a player who accumulates 5 yellow cards in first team matches (which I read to mean Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup) between the beginning of the season and the end of February gets a one match automatic ban. If the player accumulates a total of 10 (and having served his one match ban) by the second weekend of April he gets a two match ban (and I read this as extra to the one match ban already served). If he accumulates 15 yellow cards by the end of the season he serves a 3 match ban. Bans are carried over to the next season, as are special cases. I note that Joey Barton is one of those cases, but I don't know how many yellows he has accrued. Nor do I know how many cautions other players have accrued so far.
The thing is, these bans will affect some of us mere TTFFL managers at some point or another.

Actually Sin, my board may have a conflict of interest. The owner and chairman also has a major stake in an American Football team and they are doing the exact opposite of his soccer team right now.
I that JJ at the bottom?

No problems 3 Lions, I just wanted to make sure. Sorry if I came off touchy Sin...I don't have cable here and I haven't always been the most diligent in terms of doing anything other than watching *coughcoughstreamedcough* Citeh games online...so the ribbing is both well deserved and well taken.

Same here. Any more days like this and I'll be in 3 Lions territory in the table.
It's total confusion at Fratton Park. BBC Sport and Sporting Life have Matthew Taylor on a yellow... but he was on the subs bench and never made the field. What the hell is going on? Shorey was on -10pts until he put one in in injury time. James saved a Shorey penalty. 11 goals and one missed penalty. OUTRAGEOUS!!!
This is a nightmare to score, but if I'm correct Devils FC has raced into a 14pt lead and Crawlies Creepers are on -2pts for the week (but there are still 3 games to go) and have nosedived down to 4th. I predict a lot of changes this week.

I don't know if I like this fantasy football thing. I realized this today during the manyoo game when I caught myself yelling, "get in there.." as fauxnaldo was let in by some truly shit defending from quedrue.
Well mate, I have this rule of barring myself from picking Arse players... so I never get into that awful situation of willing them to score, assist or keep clean sheets. If you feel that strongly then you should drop Ronaldo.

An hour played, and Spurs are getting walloped 4 - 1 at home to Villa - looking very grim for Jol now...
3 Lions, I still need an email from you with the details needed to pay you. And I never get the file everyone else seems to be getting - I need to sort some transfers out so it would help!!!
MoTM's (without tonight games):
Claude Davis (Derby)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
David Bentley(Blackburn)
Benjani Mwaruwari (Portsmouth)
Elano (Man City)
Robert Green (West Ham)
Mikel Arteta (Everton)
Kasey Keller (Fulham)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd)
We've got a bit of a mystery on our hands. According to all match stats Portsmouth's Matt Taylor did get a yellow card on 67 minutes... but he was never used as a sub. I can't find any evidence of this happening in the actual written reports anywhere, so I'm just assuming he's on -2pts for the week until further notice, and continue to scratch my head.
I see Spurs just pulled back a miracle to 4:4 with seconds to the final whistle. Robinson did a usual fumble to gift one of the goals from a mis-catch on a simple corner. Get fit Ben Foster, for Gawd's sake.
@kaiserf, I don't know how you can live with yourself with Ferdinand AND Ronaldo in your team. Call yourself a Blue?

Oops! I just noticed bluedave has van der Sar AND Ronaldo too.
Does this mean I could pick an Ar... NO! Don't even think about it Sin.

I am with you there Sin. Checking from Eurosport and it says he is booked at 67th minute, however his name is also within unused subs ???

He probably got it from the 4th official for mouthing off on the subs bench, no?

Probably.4th official can not book, however he may have asked the referee to book him.
Yeah, but for something so out of the ordinary it would have been mentioned in the match reports. I've read 6 different reports of the Pompei v Royals match and I can't find any mention of it.

British football hacks in lax reporting shocker.

It seems to be in all the text commentaries - here is one from Reading's sight:

Well, hopefully my transfers will come good at the weekend. 3 changes were made to my squad which will come into affect on Friday
I'm having a bloody mare here. I just transferred Dean Ashton in, and this morning reports are saying he could be out for up to 8 weeks with a medial collateral knee ligament injury. Maybe I should be picking Arse players after all and putting my jinx on them.
Word that rhymes with 'Rowlocks'.
