Just how much extra fuel is being consumed?

It's incredible, some sweet bikes on the road, but I can't believe how many there are! The petrol stations must be making twice as much cash as usual... only trouble is the damn things are so noisy! Normally I love the sound of a phat Hog, but at the moment it's like three go by every 15 seconds and the novelty's rapidly wearing off!

Expat Mat
I know what you mean. I was woken by them on a Sunday morning at my old place a couple of years ago.

That was the centenary year Mat, there were thousands of the buggers all up the Reperbahn.

Yeah, it's coming on the heels of that bogus "Bikers' church service" which also jams up the city for half a day while they spew their noise through town. What a waste.

good ol' Harley. Don't complain about the noise until you've been bombarded by a Harley anniversary (try the 100th for example).
after awhile you get used to it. Yesterday there was a Harley parade for part of my neighborhood festival going on this weekend. My street turned into the parking lot...

Anyway, it'll all be over soon and you'll have your peace and quiet back smile.gif

trust me, there's no peace and quiet where I live anyway (above a club on Grosse Freiheit)...

but I can't believe how many people have them over here! There's LOADS!

probably because it's the biggest inner-city motorcycle festival in Europe, let alone Germany..

Harley's don't actually burn any petrol.

Each cylinder actually houses a specially raised Milwaukee mountain dwarf, the guy in front does the "phut phut" noises and the guy in back pedals like a madman.

They eat carrots.
