Tomorrow sees the Third Munich Triathlon taking place in the Riemer Park. I am not a big fan of the sport myself because of the strange body suits which when combined with goggles ( I nearly wrote googlies) makes these guys look like a mature ET, but I have to admire their stamina. The main reason I put it up is that there will be vehicle restrictions in the East of Munich and expect a little bit of chaos round the A94. There is a similar event on Sunday but instead of the professionals it is for mere mortals or so my not so great German tells me because it is called "2. Münchner Firmentriathlons". I would expect some traffic chaos then as well so anybody using the A94 this weekend would be as well to take an alternative route.
Here is link to a forum on the event and I had google translate it which often tends to be mildly amusing; the post beginning "Rear Thomas" if you scroll down had me in stitches. I got my info from the local newspaper without the aid of a translator or dictionary and feel quite proud of myself for the moment anyway.
