Hello all! First off I want to say how much I miss Germany!!

Now for my problem. My daughter was born in Kusel and now needs her birth certificate. Does anyone know how I can get one quickly?

Thanks!
Rilana
Hi,

from the Einwohnermeldeamt where your child was born...

Ask first about fees; when I got a copy for my daughter it was delivered cash on delivery. But this was from Munich, maybe Kusel has a different system.

Thanks for the quick replies! I googled "Einwohnermeldeamt Kusel" and I am getting no where. Can someone better than me at this find an email address for them?
Rilana
where did you register when you lived there? It would be the same place.

Searching for the Standesamt is another option, though I didn't see any promising results on the first page. Another option is to contact somebody on this page: http://vg.kusel.de/content/stadt/impressum.php and ask them for contact info for the Standesamt.

my result:

miwild, thank you very much! Email sent...

Ms Lißmann responded wanting my address 7 €. Is there a company that maybe uses paypal that sends money fast over there?

Thanks to everyone here for their help! Glad I found this forum. Now even more home sick for germany...

They will hardly take Paypal. Do you have any German friends who can transfer this for you and you send them $$ in cash? Just as an easy solution.
visionhead
No, only the ex and no one has heard from her in years. The girls would like to find her though..

I actually meant a company that takes paypal and sends the money to them.

Thanks

PayPal has recently become a "normal" chartered bank under Luxembourg law ... transferring money from your PayPal account to the Rathaus in Kusel shouldn´t be much of a problem
