In the process of moving away from Schondorf which is about 12 k from Landsberg but it is a great part of Bayern. There are a few people on TT who live around there.

I'm in Landsberg. I've met some other english speakers around here but I don't know if they are on TT. Every year Landsberg has a "lange kunstnacht" - might be of interest to you? Shops and cafes that don't usually sell art double up as exhibition spaces etc. Next one is on 29 September - there isn't any info on it on the town website at the moment but there is an email address.
Give us a shout when you've moved if you want to meet up for beer/coffee/pizza.
