Booklice / barklice (Psocoptera / Staubläuse)

Has anyone else suddenly come across hordes of Staubläuse at home due to this recent humid weather? Apart from running a dehumidifier 24/7 to kill them off has anyone got any other good cures?

Staubläuse it seems are nothing to do with dust mites, which are a completely different genus, but whatever they are we want them gone!

Thanks for any hints/tips (excluding Napalm or moving house)

not THAT much you can do. Clear lots out - throw away any wheat/oat type stuff the tend to live in there too, flour too I think + on wallpaper, cardboard...egg cartons, that kind of thing. Throw everything out, real spring clean...open all windows if it isn't raining and yes - try to get rid of the humidity. I'm not sure what else you can do... do pest control offer a service to deal with them perhaps?
