Hmmm, debateable. I have checked various trees to various people and cannot say that I see much compatability. Can I go for a tree-change operation?

, strives to be
content, optimistic, wants to be financially independent, wants love and

But cant these things be attributed to everyone?

But its strange how I started the lonelines thread... huh.gif
Saint
Grinner, I am also the Cypress tree..for me it is quite accurate. Although, I don't mind lonliness. I enjoy being alone and reading. But this might be because I had a child at 20 so I have never really been,...alone.

Sarabyrd, yes I guess you can have a tree changing operation.
Hey, let's have Hug a Tree Day - Hug me!

Yeah, pretty close for me. "Good taste" would be debatable (if you ask my friends, anyway.) Definitely NOT artistic, and I am very forgiving, so that doesn't really apply.

I apparently am:-

Pine Tree (the Peacemaker) -- loves agreeable company, craves peace and
harmony, loves to help others, active imagination, likes to write poetry,
not fashion conscious, great compassion, friendly to all, falls strongly
in love but will leave if betrayed or lied to, emotionally soft, low self
esteem, needs affection and reassurance.

Agree with most of it I guess... not sure about me craving harmony though, am more in favour of wild times and lots of ceaseless conversations!!!

Hmmm, the whole thing is extremely accurate but I don't know what the 'of unusual stature, impressive' means...that doesn't fit.

Me: Cypress Tree (the Faithfulness)
-- strong, muscular, adaptable, takes what life has to give but doesn't necessarily like it , strives to be content, optimistic, wants to be financially independent, wants love and affection, hates loneliness, passionate lover which cannot be satisfied, faithful, quick-tempered at times, can be unruly and careless, loves to gain knowledge, needs to be needed.
hams
Same as UrbanAngel... not sure if it's accurate or not.
Showem
I just read a few random ones and they all seemed to fit. In that way that generalties tend to.

According to this I'm a chestnut tree (the honesty). Whilst I would say that I share some of the characteristics listed, I find the description a little contradictory. I think if someone's going to make up generalisations about people based on their birthdates then they could at least be consistent with the personality traits. If we take the description of the chestnut tree for example, then I am supposed to be honest yet diplomatic; irritated easily yet sensitive to the feelings of others. If I get irritated easily and I'm honest about it, then I'm likely to tell people exactly how they are annoying me - this doesn't seem like a very diplomatic or sensitive thing to do. tongue.gif

Fig Tree (the Sensibility) -- very strong minded, a bit self-willed, honest, loyal, independent, hates contradiction or arguments, hard worker when wants to be, loves life and friends, enjoys children and animals, few sexual relationships, great sense of humor, has artistic talent and great intelligence.

Ah ja.
jeremy
Hmm I am happy to see that no palms are being promoted in this list. smile.gif

I am a cypress btw
Ruthie
Elm Tree (the Noble-mindedness) -- pleasant shape, tasteful clothes,
modest demands, tends not to forgive mistakes, cheerful, likes to lead but not to obey, honest and faithful partner, likes making decisions for others, noble-minded, generous, good sense of humor, practical

Hmm, I struggle with my shape, don't care much about clothes, have high expectations, forgive and forget WAY too fast, tend to be moody, not much of a leader type, don't like to make decisions even for myself -- but I am generous, practical, and funny (looking)
MoiLV
I'm also an Elm. I don't really know what pleasant shape means and I think my clothes are tasteful.. I mean, I don't wear hot pants and belly shirts that say "bitch" on them or whatever, so I guess that one applies..

Aside from "likes to lead but not to obey", the rest is pretty accurate as well.
TE610
So im a walnut tree

that explains the funny structure to my thick skull.

"strange and full of contrasts" ???

"the Passion" sounds better though
Eleanor Rigby
I'm a cedar tree too and it's pretty far off the mark especially with the "healthy optimism" and "confidence". Neither of which are characteristics I would ever use to describe myself.

Apple Tree (the Love) -- quiet and shy at times, lots of charm, appeal,
and attraction, pleasant attitude, flirtatious smile, adventurous,
sensitive, loyal in love, wants to love and be loved, faithful and tender
partner, very generous, many talents, loves children, needs affectionate
partner.

Sounds like me smile.gif and I love apples.

Actually, ER, I see you as very much the ceder tree..

Cedar Tree (the Confidence) -- of rare strength, knows how to adapt,
likes unexpected presents, of good health, not! in the least shy, tends to look down on others, self-confident, a great speaker, determined, often impatient, likes to impress others, has many talents, industrious, healthy optimism, waits for the one true love, able to make quick decisions.

and you are industrious when you're not bored.

Elm tree - honest and faithful partner?

hahahah! tongue.gif

Astrology for the arborist.
MajorBummer
Great, all these types feature only good characteristics. No wonder everybody agrees with their tree type. tongue.gif I'm not telling you which tree I am.

First, WTF is a Rowan tree???

I suppose it is somewhat accurate. But that's not too difficult, as all of the trees have positive traits which people would like to believe that they have.
Uncle Nick
Weeping Willow (the Melancholy) - - likes to be stress free, loves family
life, full of hopes and dreams, attractive, very empathetic, loves
anything beautiful, musically inclined, loves to travel to exotic places,
restless, capricious, honest, can be influenced but is not easy to live
with when pressured, sometimes demanding, good intuition, suffers in love

I agree with most of it and I do enjoy karaoke although I'm a bad singer. I wouldn't say I'm capricious though.
Marshbot
I just picked random ones without checking my date/tree first and can find things I think about myself in nearly any of them. It's uncanny! tongue.gif And no, my particular tree is no more or less accurate than any others. Nice that they're all very complimentary though.
