In August 2006 they took out a full page ad in the Economist challenging the scientific community to rebuke it's claims. Sounded like a fair challenge but it was Steorn who got to pick the panel of 22 scientists!
Steorn was to display the first ever showing of the device in action via webcast last night but they had some technical issues. The display will however take place at some time today and the device will be available for viewing between July 5th and 13th at the Kinetica Museum in London.
Edit:
Just as I had posted they updated their site again
QUOTE
We are experiencing some technical difficulties with the demo unit in London. Our initial assessment indicates that this is probably due to the intense heat from the camera lighting. We have commenced a technical assessment and will provide an update later today. As a consequence, Kinetica will not be open to the public today (5th July). We apologise for this delay and appreciate your patience.
