Hi Nicole, absolutely. There's a bunch of places we can go, so we leave Oststrand for NEXT week. And tomorrow the Italian I presume?

Hi Girls
Irene, the Oststrand sounds great and we should definitely make it a destination another week.
I usually go to Marcellos in the evening, but can find it a little hot sometimes as the stone oven for cooking the pizzas is in the eating area, so I had some concerns especially for our pregnant friends in this heat and at the hottest time of the day. I spoke with a manger who will kindly provide an air conditioning unit in the region of the play area, so rest assured girls we will not totally evaporate

.
I suggest we meet at the cafe itself
@ 13.30, as your choice of train station will depend on which direction of the city you are coming from. Below are directions which I hope are sufficiently detailed. I will PM my mobile number to those who have responded on this week's thread. If anyone else would like it, just PM me directly.
Cafe Marcello http://www.marcello-berlin.de/inhalt/cafemarcello.htmArrival - Innsbrucker platz (U or S)
Exiting the station (there is only one exit), cross the road under the bridge.
Walk left (ie in the opposite direction of the bridge, to the direction of the Lidl lift) along Hauptstr, cross over both sets of traffic lights (which lead to the motorway) - 3 mins walk. If you see Video World, you are going the wrong way - turn around.
Keep walking straight until you meet Kärntener str, you should be able to see the red Marcello's sign.
Arrival - Schöneberg S bahnThere are two exits, one with lift from the S1 platform and one stairs only from the Ring train platform (this exit saves a 3 min walk)
Exit from
lift, outside the station take a left and the first left for Ebersstr.
Take the second right for Kärntener str - 5 mins walk.
Stay in the right hand side of the road, you should be able to see the red Marcello sign.
Exiting directly from the Ring bahn on the
stairs, will bring you to the middle of Ebersstr, take a left and follow the directions as above (2 min walk along Eberstr.)
There are many buses in the area, take a look at BVG.de to see if this is perhaps an easier form of transport for you.
Look forward to seeing you all, any problems call me

Hi AllyVally
A-Baby (for P & T's Vibe) address is Schoenhauser Allee 180, with the entrance being just around the corner on Fehrbelliner Str. Nearest U-bahn is U2 Senerfelder Pl. It is a nice little shop and sells pushchairs, baby carriers, Moses baskets (the only place I have seen them in Berlin), clothes, toys etc.

Hi everyone,
I've just moved from London to Berlin with my husband and my six month old daughter. As I don't know anyone in Berlin, I'd love to meet some mums & babies. I wondered if you have room for new people. I would love to hear from you!

So ladies, what do you think for friday?
I think if it's warm we should do Irene's idea on the Oststrand... if it's raining or uncertain we should meet at Onkel Alberts children Cafe in P. berg again... that way we can see some old faces again... for example Nicki and Alec
What does everybody want to do?
xxx hope you've all had a nice week

hi hi,
looks like that rain showers will come through tomorrow - the Oststrand is lovely but very sandy. it's a problem with strollers, I just realized yesterday. plus there isn't much in the way of food. Prenzlberg sounds interesting..

If the Oststrand is not too good for pushchairs, and the weather forecast is for showers why don't we say Onkel Albert's for today, to be on the safe side?

Onkel Albert's is a spiel / kinder cafe in Prenzlauer Berg on a street that runs kind of between Kastanienallee and Schoenhauser Allee.
Tram M1 to Zionskirchplatz and U-bahn U2 to Senerfelder Platz are the nearest stops for public transport. It is only a couple of minutes walk from both.

Hi ladies!
I know it is early, but I want to suggest it before I forget. Next week (15th August) how about we meet at Nola's am Weinberg (http://www.nola.de/htdocs_redaxo/index.php?article_id=3)? It is Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg border. There is an outdoor terrace, indoor seating, it is in a park and at the top of the park is a large children's play area. They do food and drinks and if the weather is nice we could sit outside. The M1 and 12 trams stop there and the nearest Ubahn stop is Rosenthaler Platz at the bottom of Weinbergsweg.
Get well soon George!

Nola's sounds good. There are several nearby u/s-bahns so it might be best to meet at the restaurant. It's directly in Weinberg park.

Hi Ladies, sorry to have missed lunch today. The 24 hour, inappropriatley (in my opinion) named morning sickness has meant that just being upright has been a struggle without vomitting. The thought of a trip on the S Bahn just about finished me off so we stayed at home to be miserable. Hope to see you all next week. Allison and Thomas

Hi,
We were successful and we move into a flat in

Hi Maddy
Yes, it is in the middle of the park. There is a path into the park, right next to the cafe we were sitting at last week. If you follow it, Nola's is straight ahead of you - you can't miss it!
See you all tomorrow.
