Ice hockey games in Munich (EHC München)

I'm skiing in Austria this weekend...and I can't make the Rosenheim game. SHITE!!! I would love to see that game. Should be a good one!! Have extra Feuerzangenbowle for me!!

Can you buy tickets there or do you need to purchase in advance? We are really thinking of coming if the timing works out.

I cant see the place selling out, but it might get crowded in the home end.

Not been up to the hockey in a while.

EHC München have made the playoffs.

They are playing tonight and monday afternoon at home against Rosenheim.

Anyone intrested in going tonight or monday? Face off is 20:00 and monday at 15:00.

my parents are here for 2 weeks...we love hockey (played it most of my life)...I've never been to a game here, know how much it costs?

Standing is normally €10, seating €15. If you have never seen european hockey, its certainly an experience.

If we are there at 13:45 we should have no problems buying a ticket. You want the exit at the back of the train at OZ, not the front

If you want to buy tickets before you can, but the standing is non reserved. Standing is unlikely to sell out, but its important to get tehre semi early to get a respectable spot while not pissing off the locals.

Tickets are available at Ticket München outlets, you want Stehplatz heim, €10 on the door, not sure if the agents charge a booking fee

Munich lost game 2, but won game 3 7-1. Not sure what the other fixtures are, and I'm in London

Munich are through to the final after beating Leipzig 4-1 last night in game 4.

The other semi between Dresdner Eislöwen & EC Hannover Indians is going to game 5. Once that game is done the final details will be confirmed

Sounds like the finals are pretty irrelevant - Munich are promoted to the 2nd division.

Ok, promotion is a goal but winning the finals is much more important!

I think I can manage to miss 1 night of my german course...for more important things...i.e ice hockey.

According to the EHC München website, the first game will be on Sunday 17 April at 6pm in Munich.

Who's up for it? I'm pretty sure I can go, workwise. Will it sell out, so should we buy tickets now?

I doubt if it will sell out, but the standing areas will be pretty full - everyone who has ever been to more than 3 games will be there.

Get there an hour before face off and claim your standing space.

I didn't end up going last night...Anyways, Munich won 4-3 against Dresden in the first game. Brearley with 2 goals and an assist!! Not bad production from a UofW/Kitchener Rangers Grad! The next game is in Dresden tomorrow night. If there's a game in Munich next weekend...I'm going for sure!!
