DEADBOLT (USA)
Influenced by too much schnaps, Link Wray, Dick Dale, obscure 60s surf bands like The Crossfires, The Lively Ones, Eddie & the Showmen, 50s Rockabilly, etc Deadbolt created their unique, dark, hypnotising and absolutely weird voodoobilly hot rod surf with morbid offbeat-lyrics and "The Wall of Thunder", their patented dual (sometimes triple) bass sound. It`s not really understandable why none of their songs ever appeared on a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack so far... anyway, the band achieved cult status without the support of the famous director:
The band from San Diego, CA (USA) exists since 1987, mainly as a four-piece, and released seven albums and one best-off via Headhunter Records since 1994. Due to their records and their unconventional live shows the band achieved the reputation of being "The Scariest Band in the World". THE ONE AND ONLY SHOW IN EUROPE!!!
