so we're off to Henley this weekend, and basically it's going to be pissing down with rain both days. so we need to buy wellington boots. some funky ones would be great but just any would be good. I've no idea where I'd get them in Munich seeing as it's summer! can anyone help out???

I assume Wellington boots are rubberboots. The you should go looking for "Gummistiefel" in any DYI-Shop like OBI, Hornbach, PRaktiker and the like.

if you need ideas on styles to go for, might I suggest this topic from last year

ALDI had a bin-full of yellow ones for sale two weeks ago.

I saw some at Beck's last year. If none there, you could try the horsey shops near Odeonsplatz.

I got some blue ones at Karstadt am Nordbad for 8 euros -- I think for the funkier ones you have to pay a lot more...I´ve seen some in normal shoe shops like Tretter.
