Hi,
I have heard about the night tickets to travel. I am not sure if we can travel all over Germany or just Bavaria. Also what time limitations apply. Any info is welcome.
Thanks,
Avellis

Bavaria is part of Germany. And it doesn't take all night to travel across it by train...

Hi,
I meant can I use the ticket to travel anywhere in Germany in the night or only in Bavaria? Also, can I use that on weekdays ?
Thanks,
Avellis

Depends what you mean by "night", depends what train you want to get, depends when and where you are travelling.
If you are doing Munich-Nürnburg departing say 2000 its an entirely different situtation to going Munich-Hamburg departing 2300.

Here you find general information about night trains.
And
here is the nachtzug website. There you can book and look at the prices. Night trains are available on certains routes only and promotional prices are limited. The rest I guess you have to do by yourself. Go to the website make a booking for your desired dates and look at times and prices.

DB has some special offers on now and I saw Cologne - Munich mentioned for EUR 29
http://www.bahn.de/p/view/preise/nachtzug/sitzwagen.shtmlIt's not really an overnight journey any more though with journey times around six hours on the fastest trains.
The standard one way fare is around EUR 100 though you can cut that by booking in advance, getting a return ticket, travelling over the weekend etc.
You can cut the price by using "local" trains only but the journey will then take you 10 hours and not overnight.

No, it's not only bavaria. The link provided by miwild is for the Bayern-ticket nacht which is only for Bavaria, but night trains are available for traveling all over Germany and to other European destinations. Go and look on the nachtzug website link.
