I'm planning to ride down to Garmisch for the BMW Motorrad Days over next weekend (July 6th - 8th). I'm told it's an amazing party. Planning to ride down friday evening.
http://www.webbikeworld.com/BMW-motorcycle...d-days-2007.htmI've booked a camping pitch, so you can bring a tent and share the spot if you're camping.
Anyone up for joining me?

Hey, I would have loved to have gone, but unfortunately for me, my bike is still in California and I'm still waiting to ship it out here. Have any of you done that before? And do you know if I have to get a German License Plate before I can drive it around or is the California plate good for a few months?

if the same regulation applies as for imported cars, you have a full 6 months to change your u.s. plates over to german ones. if you have cali plates, the cops will be even nicer to you than they already are here in munich... hold out the whole 6 months until you make the change
