Recommended lawyers in Frankfurt

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good lawer here in Frankfurt? He doesnt need to speak English.

What field of law do you need the lawyer for? Law as such is a pretty broad subject so if you want a specialist who can give you the best advice possible and not some know-it-all, do-it-all general law practitioner you should give more details.

ACK, I have had dealings with Lawyers in the area and could make recommendations, but it depends very much on what you need them for.

I'm having a bit of problems with Mainova, but I'm thinking the problem might actually lie with my landlord. I'm thinking of asking to lower the rent, because it's a problem with the flat, rather than the company. Does anyone actually know a lawyer in Frankfurt (Bornheim, to be more precise) to ask for advice on this matter? I'd really appreciate any help.

Actually, I too would be interested in knowing it. A phone company took advantage of my lack of German language knowledge and then proceeded to screw me over when I had to buy a new phone. He would need to speak German (naturally) and either English, Spanish or Italian perfectly.

Five different people asking for lawyers in Frankfurt, but not a single recommendation yet.

Surely someone here in Frankfurt must have used a lawyer and been happy. Anyone like to post up a name?

We had one hit in the "Divorce lawyers in Frankfurt" thread. The guy's website lists a handful of specialities.

When my wife and I bought our flat last year we used Herr Dr Norbert Luh in Westend. Although his English was very limited, he had a swedish praktikant there to help when my German failed (I can do the basics no problem but complex legal jargon is not my thing "auf Deutsch" and my wife is German but has no idea about investments, contracts, business etc). I can honestly say that not only is the good Herr Dr very efficient, affable and reasonably priced but he also posseses a (refreshing) sense of humour. Not the stiff "Herr Dr" that one might expect based on certain stereotypes. I am unsure whether he specialises in fields of law outside of property but he is part of a seemingly medium sized practice with some other lawyers. Good luck to all.
