Duelling concerts: Fishbone vs. Skatelites

I had thought there was some sort of ska festival going on, but it seems that two clubs in the same part of Prenzlauer Berg are having ska shows the same night. Tuesday 3 July 2007

I've seen them both before (Fishbone at Jazz Fest [the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival] last year, and the Skatalites in Bern back in 1999). I would go to either show, but it seems we can only choose one. Anyone interested in one or the other?

So hmm based on a quick look at the links I think I'd be more interested in the Skatelites, sounds like fun, and the Kesselhaus is a nice venue for concerts. But I really wouldn't know. What's your preference jtw?

I could go either way. giseladabomb (who has never posted, but has a username and came to Thursday night drinks one week) expressed interest in the Skatalites, so it's 2-0 in that direction.

I'm still on the fence, since there has been interest in both shows.

Just to clarify, I don't really mind either way as I haven't heard much from either band, so if you guys prefer to see Fishbone it's more than fine by me. I checked some stuff on their myspace and like it so I'd be curious to see them live too.

Okay, so we have one strong vote each way, and a weak preference for the Skatalites. Given that, I'm tipping over to the Skatalites show. According to http://www.kesselhaus-berlin.de/_overview...=The+Skatalites the show starts at 21:00, so should we meet maybe 20:30 in the courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei, under the big clock?
