Hello everyone,

My boyfriend has suggested that I buy him a skydiving jump for him and me for his birthday. I can't really think of anything worse, but I figure it's one of those things I should do in my lifetime. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that will ensure that neither of us will fall to our ultimate deaths?

Thanks in advance,
Moi

You should ask One51. He is rumoured to know about these things.

I will be doing one soon, but I forgot the company name.

In fact I should get on and book that!

Space is the man to ask for this, but I have seen a company with a stand down at the Oly shopping mall that do this

Just moved to Munich from the states, where I was skydiving every weekend...been kinda frustrated with the weather, but I'm wondering if there are any other people out here who would be interested in/already do take trips out to DZs in the area and camp out or stay in the bunkhouse for the weekend. I'm itchin to go back up ASAP (this sunday?) Please post any info you might have on the DZs in the area too!

This is what you're lookin for. 100km east of Munich - 2 hours with the DB.

It's about €195/person, minimal discounts available if you have at least 3 people. It's worth every penny biggrin.gif I'll be there every weekend as long as the weather's nice!

Was just looking for a place to go skydiving. Did it once a few years ago and fell fully in love but for some reason haven't managed to do it again... until now. If anyone is going let me know.

LiquidTen - PM if you read this. I lived in RIC for a long time and have some friends in bands. Who knows, we may know some of the same people.

I'm going to go down to Fly For Fun today or tomorrow and book my gift jump for early August if possible. If anyone wants to do it as well with them let me know and we can maybe try and work out a date that works for all.

The prerequisite for this exhilarating experience is good health as well as body weight that does not exceed 85 kg. All required equipment will be provided.
