Netball clubs and leagues in Berlin

Hey, does anyone know of any netball clubs/leagues in Berlin..?

Am new to Berlin and looking to play netball too. Would you be willing to start up a group?

Well sounds like starting something could be a goer. Skill level doesn't matter as it's not as though we'd be in a competition. Anyone up for meeting soon to chat about possible venues, equipment etc? I'm kinda new to town so don't know where courts (ie basketball ones) are. Would about 1830 on Wednesday 29 August suit and can someone please suggest a place...

I spent ages looking for netball teams last year - didn't find any. I'm interested too, though can't make it for the next couple of weeks.

Hi nerissa, I know what you mean - Im trying to play some kind of sport 2 to 3 days a week to keep fit and for fun as well; cannot stand gyms. I will be playing squash on sunday with someone i met on this forum at 4pm if interested and if we can get a net ball team going, that would be good too.

I stuck an ad in Exberliner to see if anyone wanted to join up and make a netball team but haven't really had much interest. Then there's also the issues of not being able to get propers nets and balls...
Maybe a basketball/netball hybrid would be an option. I definately would like to get something organised though. Does anyone know any basketball courts we could rent?

I am also up for playing netball. Has anyone been able to find anything yet?

Hey everyone! There's obviously a lot of interest in starting up a team, lets make it happen! I'm really interested in joining as well though don't really know where to start in terms of court, equipment etc. If someone is able to help with that side of things, I'm happy to try and organize getting people together. Would be really cool to get this off the ground as there's so much interest. Let me know what you think.

after seeing that google has got NO matches for "netaball in Berlin" thought I'd write again...If in fact it's the case that you haven't got anything organised, a really good first step I think would be to simply make a time to meet up in Berlin...just in a cafe somewhere central, just to see for sure if there is interest. Think somebody said it's been hard to get supplies...but if there's interest then that could be sorted.*

New to berlin and need to get fit in advance of my holiday in May after spending last couple of months studying it hasnt done much for the figure... anyway would welcome to play netball, have'nt played since school but would definitly be interested let me know if something is organised.

You can get netballs and bibs on ebay if thats any help to you. A set of bibs will cost around 20 pounds.

Bonus - So can anyone meet up to try and get a team together?

I am about to move at the end of August and would love to play! Be a great way of meeting people as I will be brand new to the place.
Has there been any progress? I may be able to help with getting a set of bibs and taking them over with my stuff when I move, and at least 1 netball!
