Recommendations for some reasonably priced ones

Hi there,
For my birthday I got some money towards a personal trainer. Trawling the internet I have only found incredibly expensive ones...55-70 euros or thereabouts for an hour. It's a little out of my league, so I was wondering if anyone here could reccommend someone who is more reasonably priced? Or send me a link...smile.gif Would really appreciate it!
Cheers

My husband works in Kreuzberg and raves about the fitness instructor that comes by the office. He charges much less than 50 euros per hour! I'm not sure if this fellow wants his personal contact info broadcast over the web so send me a personal mail if you would like to get in touch with him.

Hi,

I just joined Jopp Frauen Fitness, hoping to workout with a personal trainer and get back into shape. (I just had twins a year ago.) The only English-speaking personal trainer charges $80 euro for a half hour session which I thought was a bit pricey. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good English-speaking personal trainer?

Thanks so much,
Lisa

Hi!

I do personal training in Berlin on a sliding pay scale, since I realize a good portion of people in Berlin aren't millionaires smile.gif

Feel free to contact me for rates. I also do in home (mat) pilates training.

Do any of you personal trainers do some kick boxing?
Personal Fitness Trainer
Hello all,

I'm a Personal Fitness Trainer new to Berlin (Mitte), currently building up a client base. It is my contention that most of what is written and passed on about training is true but only partially. Herein lies the problem for those wanting to train effectively and actually achieve something through all the hard work they put in. This affords the opportunity for Fitness Trainers to earn a living. Now, it's my view that Personal Fitness Trainers are, for the most part, an expensive luxury, that is unless you're not getting the results you promise yourself week in, week out, or want to change yourself for the better, but don't know how to go about it properly. A Fitness Trainer cannot do the work for you, but they can guide you through the minefield of ineffectual training routines and the myriad of useless diets. This may seem to contradict what I said at the beginning, but, actually it doesn't. The reason is, that any training works, but not necessarily how you want it to for your specific goals. I offer a series of sessions where we work together to clarify your goals and work out a way to reach them. I advocate safe, precise and progressive technique, pushing the boundries of your body and changing your perception of yourself in order to get where you want to be physically, and free of the mental shackles that we build up for life in the adult world.
I am open for business any time that suits you, and charge 40 Euros a session that lasts as long as it takes, usually between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 hours. After a series of homework assignments, you will be ready to plan your own sessions and know how to motivate yourself so that you don't need me, or anyone else, to show you how to reach your goals.
If I can assist anyone in any way, please feel free to PM me here.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Tony.
