Hi
does anyone know what "Erfolgskunden" are. It is one of four business segments, the other are Potenzialkunden, Topkunden und Standardkunden.
Context is CRM and customer classification
Many thanks

I think Erfolgskunden is a term used by credit providers and banks meant to describe customers who're into success and quick profit. I know it sound stupid because every borrower wants this, but creditors and financial managers use this term to distinguish borrowers who really know what they want and are proven to be successful, from Potenzialkunden and Standardkunden who're more into keeping their businesses up and running.

I would say reference customers, customers who have given a positive feedback on the product and given the rights to use their name as a reference at other customers.

The term
Erfolgskunde appears to me to be a word creation/invention of

If it is CRM, perhaps it is more about all aspects of the business realtionship with them and not just their creditworthiness.
At my firm we refer to "Referenzkunden" that are BIG names that we can use to further advertise our products.
