S1/S8 S-Bahn delay around 8pm last Friday

Hi,

I was coming back from a long trip on June 15th (last Friday) and waited for the S8 in the Airport for about an hour (from around 20:15 till around 21:15). They were cancelling the trips, both of S1 and S8, one by one. I got fed up and took a taxi home.

The MVV office in Airport did refund me the ticket cost :-)

Any idea what had happened and how long this disruption was?

See the discussion about the hail storm. A number of flights into Munich were delayed also, but only by a few hours.

Why did they refund you the cost? Just for future reference of course.

I told them I had been waiting for more than 1 hour and I would like to cancel my ticket. Looks she had the instruction to refund the ticket, because that is what she did without any further questions :-)
