Back in September 2001 whilst attending a company conference in the USA Douglas Adams was the celebrity speaker. Whilst I don't care for his books his talk was quite amusing. A few weeks later he passed away... A couple of years later we had Gene Kranz (Apollo 13 flight director) - brilliant.
