Hi folks,
Im looking for work...still. Now I have been on here a couple of times before with similar posts and not much has come of it but I was given some very useful advice which was great, unfortunately so far not much has come of it. To cut a long story short, I'm planning on moving over to Germany in Sept, somewhere in BW as thats where my significant other lives, ideally Stuttgart as I like it however at this stage Im not that push. I need some suggestions of where to look for work, places, companies, business's schools. I dont have much German, its basic. I would appreciate any tips, info...anything at this stage! as we are now into June and still no luck! help!

What kind of jobs are you looking for?
I just moved to Stuttgart after having found a job from Singapore.
There isn't much of a recruitment agency culture here. So basically I raided every online jobsites there were.
You could try
monster.de. If u're looking for an IT job, you could try

I am trying to stay in Germany even though my current work contract is due to end, I have been able to secure another 6 months on a month by month basis but id like to find and secure a job ASAP any advice on where to look, job sites ect would be really appreciated. Also when I leave my job I become homeless so any advice on how to find somewhere to live and what I should be expecting to pay in rent would be greatly recieved.
I am looking to stay in Stuttgart and at the moment will consider almost any type of work.
Thanks

Hello everyone. I am interested in a way to find a secure job in Stuttgart. I studied Foreign Languages (French / English) and I have a diploma in French / English translations. I intend to move to Stuttgart as soon as possible at the beginning of 2008. I am not focused on a certain field. I would be available to accept any kind of job, except bar, fast food jobs. If any one has any suggestion for a job as pharmacy, registrations, kindergartens, schools, sometfing that you know that accepts a collaboration / secure job. I would appreciate very much. Thank you in advance.

Hello, my name is Linda, an Irish girl moving to Tuebingen in 3 weeks time. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and am looking for work in the Stuttgart/Tuebingen area. Im finding it very very hard, looking on the internet. Would anyone have any advice for me, where I should be looking, or any good websites? I have no German, so that is my main obstacle! I think I will have to take a summer job first anyway, in order to learn German, so if anyone also knows a local job website in Tuebingen/Stuttgart that would be great!! Im open to any kind of job at the moment! I also play Irish music and wonder is there a demand for this in Stuttgart?

Hi there,
I am also looking for work in the Tuebingen/Stuttgart area. I have just completed my BA Hons degree in French and German, and having spent a study abroad year in Tuebingen I am keen to return to the area. I'm also having a lot of trouble finding jobs in the area, I applied for the big companies in Stuttgart - BMW, Celesio etc, but I would prefer to work in Tuebingen.
Does anyone know of any Tuebingen businesses that might employ a tri-lingual graduate? I know that there aren't that many businesses in Tuebingen, but there must be something somewhere nearby!
Many thanks,
Rachel

@ rspreece / Romona
For a tri-lingual job I'd try the EPO (the EU patent organisation), but as far as i Know there only in Berlin and Munich.
But they mite have something in stuttgart.
