I am trying to program 3 speedial numbers into my bosses mobile phone. It is a relatively new BenQ-Siemens and I am currently looking up which model and will post here when I find the exact model but it looks very similar to the E81.

Is this function even possible? If so, how would I program it?

it appears that they don't have programmable speed-dial but you use the entry number in the contact list. So if you have a contact that is number 9 in your contacts, you just dial 9.

don't forget to make a cup of tea for the boss while you are at it

So if you have a contact that is number 9 in your contacts, you just dial 9.

You probably have to dial something else in addition to the index number. Otherwise how does the phone know if it's an index number or just a number that you want to dial?

On mine it's the index number followed by #, or long-press of the index number (for indexes 0 to 9).

Play with it for a while, press random buttons and look busy.

Thanks for your help, we've figured it out.

If anyone really cares how, feel free to pm me.

Why not share the info with everyone? Otherwise the thread is redundant.
