Looks like it's going to be spotty rain until mid-afternoon. I wanted to join up but I'm down with the flu.

woof.
Sari
Well, I am still in...there is still a lot of cool 'stuff' to 'click click' in the rain wink.gif
CaBe
I will be there too despite the weather. If it gets really bad we still can shorten the whole thing.
bern
It's not supposed to rain in the afternoon. Just the morning. We'll have clouds until evening, but it's not "supposed" to rain. That's what they taught me when I earned my degree in meteorology.
Keydeck
You have a degree in meterology? Ok go on then, guess my star sign!

Just back from my little outing around town. Looks like it might be ok. Either way I'll be there at 11:30.
bern
I prefer it my way. I never much cared for the metric system. wink.gif
Keydeck
Well, the sun's out here in Laim and me batteries is chargin'

*off to play some blues before heading to Starbucks*
bern
Sun's out in Schwabing, too, though curiously lacking blue sky.
sparty
That was a cool day! I can't wait for the pictures to be posted!
pjoyce
I agree and nice to meet some new faces too. Thanks again to Grinner for organising and bringing along the laptops.
Keydeck
Twas a lot of fun yesterday. Conversation in Molly's afterwards included a rather memorable discussion as to the usefulness of sex toys as an aid to salad preparation. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Looking forward to seeing all the entries.
pjoyce
I've been wondering...has the 400D manual dried out yet?
CaBe
I had a great time with you guys yesterday, can't wait to see you pictures. Thank you Grinner for organizing and bringing the equipment! Waiting for the next competition :-)

sex toys as an aid to salad preparation

it looks a little like this:

sparty
That might be an interesting discussion for the Adult Chat.
bern
Oh, there were lots of intereting discussions yesterday. I don't think I was old enough for most of them.
Keydeck
The moistened manual. Not mine mind, I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for mine.

Keydeck
Downloading and choosing the entries...

pootle

Will be a nightmare to co-ordinate the downloads...

I can bring my laptop along to make it faster...but the bettery doesn't last so long, would need a place to plug it in.
sparty
Sounds good!
pjoyce
I would like to come along for the next competition but I'm getting married the day after and may be busy! I'll need to check and confirm later...
eurovol

zoo. yes I am in. where is my zooooooom smile.gif
gideon
Why not make it "kids in the zoo" and kill two birds with one stone? Tip. You should check up on the feeding times of the various animals. I always end up missing the sea lions.

Can we get in on a group price?

You can get a transferable ticket valid for 10 entries costing €60, or get a group rate of €6 valid from 20 people and up. Bring your own grub, I am sure that the restaurants and kiosks serve up the animals' leftovers.
A propos: Feeding times
Sealions are 11.30am and 2.30pm.

I am new but would love to join!
Tom17
Goddammit! another one I won't be able to attend.

At this rate I may make it for the one themed "Snow"
Carm
I am off that weekend in Switzerland, so I cannot make it, really wanted to part take in one.
Renia
I am tempted to jump on the bandwagon too as am now in possession of a new Canon EOS 400D but have bugger all idea of how to do anything fancy yet. I have been saying I am going to read the manual for over a month now...
bern
Bummer. Won't be able to make this one. sad.gif
CaBe
count me in :-)
dancing_in_the_dark
Hi I'm new in Munich and I'd like to attend this Photo competition...
however, I have a film camera (I haven't buy a digital SRL yet) so I don't know if I can take part at this race, reading your messages I have understood you are all provided with a digital camera

In any case, is there any problem if I come like an "outsider"???

Cheers smile.gif

P.S. could someone suggest me a professional studio to develop my pictures?
pootle
I have to work on the Sunday morning sad.gif with no definite finish time - sorry. Unless anyone else wants to take over the organisation?
bern
Don't suppose I can participate from the States? No? Bummer.
Sari
All you have to do is walk off the base here wink.gif Or are you in the real States smile.gif
