TT Photography Competitions

would love to join, but the street festival idea sucks, it toooooooooo open and who knows what you will get?

I expect that's the point, Carm. It's a contest. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. Being difficult is what makes something worth doing. Find an interesting subject, get a good composition, get the shot you want. Me, I'm not thrilled about that as a subject but it's more of a challenge to me than "Isar" or "tyres".

I'm just annoyed because I thought it was today and not next week; I may be out of town if I can get Friday off.

Im definitely in, but really not sure about streetlife. Its not that its a hard subject or too open, Its just that I find it just a tad uninspiring, but if thats what is chosen Ill stifle the yawns and give it my best.

I fail to see why the Streetfest should be any harder of different than any other discipline or theme.

I will therefore suggest that wee meet at the same place.. but at 11.30 Grab a coffee and again we will draw from a choice of Envelopes..

We could meet back at the Arc, but If anyone fancies "Fish and chips" after... Then Mollies is the place!

If we choose Mollies, I will need to reserve a table for us..

actually 11.30 is so late it interrupts my day, couldnt we start at say 6 am when the light is at its best and then i have a whole day not to waste on TT trivia

Just double checking it is starbucks tomorrow at 11.30. If anyone else wants to come, I have a spare nikon 3MP that someone can borow if they want. Remember that last time it was the smaller cameras that had the greatest success. ie not us megapixel SLR freaks. (if the theme happens to be "eyes" we can all lie in, Keydeck has won already)

Is it too late to join? Sorry for the lateness, haven't been around much lately and so didn't see this before. I have a fairly crappy camera and am not exactly talented when it comes to photography but I'd like to give it a go and see if I have any creative juices to let flow.

Thanks to those who organised. It was a lot of fun. Just had another look through my pics and really think I should have opted for a different one after all. Just as well I only had two half decent shots to choose from or I would have been crippled by indecision. Some people took some really impressive pictures, can't wait to see the voting!

Sorry I missed it again. Looking forward to seeing the pictures, though.
