I'll be out riding in the Munich Area probably south of Grünwald with an objective of finding a nice forest/Isar route to the Gasthaus zur Mühle. Beer is likely.
Anyone interested? Thinking of a 10AM meetup. Place TBD...
So, is it the day, the location, the excercise, my smelly feet?

Smelly feet or not - I would if I were in town!

There will be other opportunities, I'm sure. What kind of riding are most folks interested in?

Gasthaus zur Mühe.
The title sounds like too much hard work.
Seriously, though, there's some nice rides down the Isar. We've often ridden from Münchner Freiheit or Odeonsplatz down to the Waldwirtschaft. Nice ride, but a bit too much tarmac for my liking (not that my mountain bike has been anywhere near a mountain!).
Seen those rafts, too, but not shooting the rapids like that.

Would starting a ride in-town make more sense? I would imagine a meet-up point towards Perlacher Forst or Grünwalder or ... would make more sense.
Grünwald to Straßlach to Mühe can't be more than 5+5 kms.

If only I were in town i'd love to join you, but sadly I am not. biking and down around the Gruenwald area nice combo (for me)

never mind folks, we'll try with a little more timing at another date, schedule has filled up with brunch instead (and it must be my smelly feet)

Don't worry man, I'm sure it's not your feet. On a day like today I'm sure folk would prefer a more worthwhile mountain trip as opposed to just a wee Isar ride to Gasthaus Mühl (even though it is one of my favourite cycle-to-from-the-house beer gardens).

Thanks Banno, As I rode alone (only got out at 3), I did a good full ride to some town called Peißenberg and back. Got home late but a nice ride.
