Installing a T-Com DSL splitter (T-DSL)

Technical help on how to do this

This maybe a stupid question, but my T-DSL is set to be activated on June 8th (so the letter tells me), and I have yet to receive the splitter. Given my past experience with DT, I'm doubtful it will arrive before then, but yet, I still remain optimistic. Now the question, I may be worried over nothing, but how do you put in the splitter? Is it just plug and play or do I have to connect the wires in the socket? I'm totally clueless when it comes to electronics. Thanks all your patience!

Oh well...

Wait till it arrives...

the instructions come with the splitter box. And it should arrive before they turn on the DSL, at least mine did, but then again, I am almost the only person not to have problems with Telekom here.
And its pretty idiot proof, I was able to set mine up with out a hassle, and I am technology illiterate.
good luck

computer language is sort of english, so, with the photos/instructions, I am sure you will get by.

it's simple there are two jacks in the 'bottom' of the splitter. One is for the connection to the wall (actual phone jack) and the other is for the connection to the dsl modem. They are both marked. The rest of the splitter works as a regular german telephone jack. Nothing to it at all. connect your phone to the one the slot in the middle. wink.gif
