hi,

I signed up for Alice internet connection (Fun flat - DSL and fixed line Phone) about a month back. I got an SMS saying on 21st May-07 T-Com technical person is coming to give the connection and he/she will start my internet connection. I took a day off, and no one came.
same thing happened on 30-May, 31-May and on today (4-Jun), thank god i did not take off on other 3 days.
...called customer care many many times...(till I got a English speaking representative on every occasion), but every time same answer t-com guy will come and fix...

Now I am in a helpless condition, don't know how to proceed further. Any suggestion how escalate this problem. I will be in Germany for 11 more months so I took Alice as there is no contract.

Extra info:
I checked the wires in t-com distribution box in my building, I found wires that are connected to my apartment are not connected to any of the pins in distribution box. There are few (some 6 pairs or so) lines coming from outside (T-Com lines i believe) and few wires that goes to other apartments in our building are connected (2 pairs going to 2 apartments) to these outside lines in the distribution box, reaming pairs/pins are free. Though these 4 lines connected, but no one using these lines (my apartment care taker told me no one has a phone or internet connection in our building).

any help will be appreciated greatly !

In theory you are not allowed to open or access a Deutsche Telekom distribution box (mainly so you don't mess up connections belonging to other people). You'll need to wait for the Telekom man (which will mean waitiing for the current strike to end. Even if you do manage to sort it yourself, he'll still come eventually, then you'll get your hands severely slapped for messing with equipment which does not belong to you.

Phone and internet are up, thanks to t-com guy, simply good job.
i think delay is because of telecom strike.
