Don't know about Schwabing, but "The Big Easy" in Neuhausen has awesome pancakes on their Sunday brunch buffet.

I had some really nice ones in the restaurant whose name I can't spell, which is on the corner of Barerstr opposite the Pinakotheken (Tresnjewski?).

Tresznjewski. Very tough to spell. And I would second the pancakes there.

ahhh, I've been making pancakes the past couple of weeks now!! My mom keeps sedning me boxes of the mix from the states. Sorry that doesn't help your situation. Just thought it was funny when I saw the post. Good luck with your search!!

Hmm after a bit of research, I found out that the company who makes waffles for Oktoberfest is the Waffelbäckerei Kiebl Anno 1900 (and they're organic waffles!) Can't find a website for them though. Looks like they also have a crêpe stand at Tollwood.

If you are ever in Heidelberg go to Mandy's Railway Diner. Mmmm they have good food.

Thanks guys!!!
Still craving them... I actually went to Tollwood but was dissapointed ... the chocolate they use is not so good... nothing can replace Nutella...

I made my own pancakes Saturday morning. All it is is flour, baking soda, an egg, milk and a little bit of sugar. much better than any of the packaged stuff here.
Oh, and REAL Vermont maple syrup on top. Mmmmm lecker!
