So we have a Pink Floyd thread which has been giving me wet dreams lately, and now if Jeremy starts a Jethro Tull thread I'm going to be in Toytown nirvana.

I just got home after having had the pleasure of playing in the backing group for Jethro Tull in Butzbach, just north of Frankfurt, for the Hessentag festival- I can confirm that these boys have still got it and are definitely worth the trip.
I've played many times with Ian Anderson alone, so tonight was a special thrill to be onstage with the entire Tull. The guitarist Martin Barre is still in great shape - I had goose bumps during his solo in Aqualung - but I was most impressed by Doane, their huge Californian drummer, who can belt a drum kit like no one else!
Highly recommended!
