If you have been inspired by the Olympics and want to take part in a triathlon then read on...
There is a corporate triathlon being held at
Wasserskipark Aschheim on the outskirts of Munich on Sept 11. It is a short course triathlon, meaning only a 450 swim, 24km bike and 5km run. Alternatively you can enter as a team and share the events, so one person swims, one cycles, and the other runs. The entry fee is 15 euros if you enter as an individual, or 40 euros for a team. The price includes snacks and drinks during the race plus free water-skiing and beach volleyball after the event.
If you are interested you can enter yourself directly on the event website (in German) at
www.sportkonzepte.de/triathlon/ or if you are interested in the team event we can organise some teams.
having read the threads on moutain biking and in doors climbing and 10 k I am guessing that there are some fit Toytowners who may be interested.

Tench,
You probably received the email about the triathlon at the Olympia RudderRegatta - no swimming, rollerblading instead. It's 10K rollerblading, 5K run, 15K cycling. On September 18 or 19 - I will send you the details if you didn't get them.

Shaggy: There are 2 events..
The first is on the 11th Sept. and is swim/bike/run at the water skiing lake which includes the wakeboarding in the afternoon. (the one I was referring to)
The second is on 19th Sept. and is roller-blade/bike/run (as per kitkat64s mail).
I'm not around on the second weekend and it seems neither is Tom17
Ellewood: Who is newtoncp?
