Thanks Kay

@Aschaffenburgboy. Please keep the innapropriate schoolboy banter down during these meetings. I am becoming more and more concerned than ever that you are unlikely to ever hit your quota for the recruitment ideals discussed. TT cannot survive in the current format. God knows it is a jungle out there. Unless we get this strategy back on track and find a way to move forward then frankly I cannot see light at the end of the tunnel. Remember there is only one C in Clear.

It is clear we will need a 3 day strategy summit in Davos to flesh out the bones of this one. All expenses will be paid by TT of course, and I would like members to put together a timetable for the initiative. Just a small personal request from me that breakfast meetings do not commence before 6.30am, but I do understand we may need to override this for the greater good, and considering the huge potential once we get all the like-minded thinkers together. I suggest we call this the Toytown Think Tank Training Talk Turnout. Or TTTTTTT for short.

May I propose sending all new members a welcome package.
A t-shirt - 'I'm new, love me' slogan with TT logo embroidered over left breast. (or alternatively, a baseball cap with said slogan and logo)
Introduction broschure - including amongst other points: 1. where to find the search function. 2. thread title changes (it happens - live with it). 3. How to use the quote function. 4. Grammar; how important is it? 5. Keydeck - and how do I also post fifty posts a day whilst working.
A set of ten Toytown Xmas cards.
A ballpoint pen.
An 'I heart Germany' patch for sewing on their favourite blazer.
'The Relationship Parachute' - A book on relationship counseling.
I feel that demonstrating awareness of new member timidity will ensure a quicker integration into the forum community. A new member's potential for posting useful and informed messages should be exploited and encouraged. Remember, you were new once.
We should also not assume that, because they are struggling to find their footing, they are not valuable. To assume makes an ass of u and me.

While I applaud the efforts of all those that have contributed to this thread, I feel that the sheer number of messages to be much too high to get a good overview of the proposed process.
I therefore propose that the appropriate single point of contact be chosen; someone who then can distill all of this information and present it in a clear, concise format to upper-level management.

Remeber people - You can't close yourself off only from the bad, the good will also find it hard to get through your wall. Like they say with regards to life - it's not the falling down but the getting up again. The same applies to everything incl. love and relationships.
