Tried searching around and found threads for the 2005 and 2006 season, but was wondering if there's one kicking around for the 2007 season? Anybody have any clues?
Nothing like drinking a beer and randomly swingin a stick.

I would lerrvvvve to play some ball. even brought my mit from chicago. i haven't seen any baseball fields since i've been here. not too common i guess but i will ask around. Cheers, anya
In my Munich years we would meet every sunny Sunday at the
English Garden (by the
Chinese Tower) and play hours and hours of softball. It was a blast. I mix of South, Central and North Americans, with a pair of awkward Germans at times. I guess it is no longer happening. Last time I played there was in 2003. I suspect a number of TTers used to play back then?

Hey, you forgot to include inept but improving Paddies and Brits !
Did you play back then Yeti? We were mostly drinkers with a softball problem.

@PES
Dehydration, the silent killer.
Yes played for about three years then moved out of Munich, usually the 8th inning was the longest but at least you were sitting down for it.

I have a few softballs (yes those too) but I only have one mitt. A hardball mitt works fine.
Somebody was on here with bases and bats at some stage.

I am without a doubt 100% in on any softball/ baseball to be played. Unfortunately I am without my mit until I get back to the US in July. For the record, I contacted Toast, who apparently inherited all of the mits (they appear to have had plenty back in the day) and other equipment. This was her reply:
"Hi, I am sort of the one that inherited the softball, but right now I'm 9+ months pregnant. So, unfortunately, I'm not going be able to start up until probably May-ish. If no one else starts it before then, I will definitely send you a pm when I do."

I should also add that I had the good fortune to come into posession of 2 wiffle ball bats and 4 wiffle balls (the proper type with holes alowing for nasty curves) recently. I don't know about anyone else, but this has ALWAYS been one of my favorite semi-athletic / semi-drinking activities. Anyone interested? Chicks dig the long ball, or in this case the 30 or so foot bomb!!! Enough response could warrant a separate wiffle ball gathering as we await the greater organization required for a softball game.

I've got two mitts and a hard ball.
Wiffle'd be great - it might make me homesick, though.

As previously indicated, I am definately in. Shall we try and get a sign-up sheet together? Also, does anyone know Toast personally? I will shoot her a PM to see if we could at least try to steal some of the equipment she apparently has if needed.

Erm.. well, I've got some balls.

It was the other Jenny who had most of the gear (can't remember her online name at the moment).. I'm up for some softball.

Only if mrbrain and inflatablewoman are playing though.

Again, I think the other Jeni is "Toast". I can't manage to get a hold of her with PM. If anyone knows her personally perhaps they could as her if we can play with her toys!?!?!
