Hi,

I am an American Father with 2 half German children 2 and 4. I have lived here in Germany for the 10 years, 5 here in Berlin.

Some how I for the most part not made much contact to other American fathers.

I would be interested in hearing others experiences and suggestions, work experiences and more. i am unemployed- leads for what other americans do here would be nice.

Maybe we could create some kind of kids soccer club.. I know there are American day cares, but my kids go to a German Kita, where this is all normal.

Hi Jeremiah,

I am a Canadian father looking for the same. I have two girls, 4 and 6 years old. This is probably not the right forum as most members are younger and single. There are very few family oriented members in this forum (as far as I am able to tell)
Perhaps some other members with children will read this and we can start a small Saturday or Sunday family day group of some sort (doesn't have to be a soccer thing). I know my kids would love to have contact with other English speaking kids here in Berlin.
Then we can also exchange our stories and advice.

Hey Guys,

Also an English native father here in Berlin. This post is quite old so just wondering if anyone is still monitoring it.

I would be interested in starting, joining, participating in any type of group or activities.

Reply if still around

hey fellas,

I'm also an American living in Berlin with my German wife and our two children. Roman's idea of getting together with our families on a weekend sounds great. Please let me know if this happens!
